Corrections

Uff da! 

Every Scandiquilts pattern is thoroughly tested and tech edited, but the occasional typo can still slip through. If one does, you'll find the correction here. The latest version is always available via your download link. You'll find the version number at the back of your pattern, right by the Scandiquilts logo. If there is no version number, you have the original unnumbered version. 

If you think you've found an error in one of my patterns, I'd love to hear from you. Please send me an email at hello@scandiquilts.com, and I'll look into it right away.

SQ006 Star Dots, unnumbered version 

Page 6 – Step 5

There is an error in the pressing instructions that prevents the seams from nesting properly. The seams in the completed Star block should be pressed away from the center, not towards it. The image below shows the correct pressing instructions.

Page 11 – Block & Unit Overview

The measurement for the I piece in the Framed Square Unit is incorrect.

Incorrect: 2½" × 4½"

Correct: 2½" × 6½"

Important: This typo only appears in the Block & Unit Overview, which is intended as a reference when making a scrappy version of the quilt. The error does not affect the fabric requirements, cutting instructions and piecing instructions elsewhere in the pattern. 

 

Unnumbered version + version 1.2: 

Page 12 – Cutting labels

The measurement on the D piece label is incorrect.

Incorrect: 2½"x WOF strips

Correct: 4 ½" x WOF strips

Also, The G piece label had a parenthesis saying (5-color only). This is incorrect. The G piece is for both the 5-color version and the 2-color version.
